Coaching Beyond the Toolbox

A 3-week live intensive for coaches who want to trust themselves in and out of the coaching room, stay present without rescuing, and create space for both coach and client to thrive.

Hey there,

I’ve been in leadership rooms for over a decade, and I’ve seen the freedom that comes from collaboration. I’ve also been the coach who walks away from a session thinking, What on earth was that?

Coaching Beyond the Toolbox is an exploration of what it means to enter the room with confidence, stay out of the client’s decision-making, and hold a clear, pressure-free space where their work can unfold.
Our clients already have opinions, expectations, and advice coming at them from every direction. The coaching room can be different. It can be the place where they have room to expand their thinking, hear themselves clearly, and decide what comes next. But it takes an intentional coach to clear the static.

maybe you’re the coach who

Keeps searching for the deeper thread, steps in when the silence gets awkward, sees the answer before the client does, or carries the session home with you. You want to succeed—or at least not fail—but you’re still searching for a tangible rubric that tells you when you’re doing it right. (You know there isn’t a right, but man… wouldn’t it be nice if there was?)

You care deeply about your clients and want to trust yourself, stay present, and know what belongs Keeps searching for the deeper thread, steps in when the silence gets awkward, sees the answer before the client does, or carries the session home with you. You want to succeed—or at least not fail—but you’re still searching for a tangible rubric that tells you when you’re doing it right. (You know there isn’t one “right” way, but man…wouldn’t it be nice if there were?)

You care deeply about your clients. You want to trust yourself, stay present, and know what belongs to you—without shrinking back or taking over.

I’ve got you.

Three weeks of noticing, creating, clarifying, and intentionally showing up…

You are a good coach.

You can be a good coach and still have questions about how you’re doing. You might be several clients deep and still asking the same questions you did in certification. What makes you a good coach is your willingness to keep showing up and learning thoughtfully.

At some point, we said yes to coaching. Maybe we signed up for a certification because there was something in us that needed somewhere to go. There were people we wanted to help—and situations that felt impossibly tangled until someone helped us see them differently.

So we did the thing. We trained. We started coaching. Maybe we went and got double or triple-certified.

Maybe your sessions are going well. Maybe you’re still waiting for your first client. Either way, there’s probably a little voice in the back of your mind that occasionally asks, What are you doing? Do we need another certification?

This intensive creates space to answer that question—not with a pass-or-fail rubric, but by getting clearer about your calling, direction, coaching style, and what you believe coaching can be.

It’s kind of like creating a coaching jacket that fits you, the tools you’ve learned, and the way you want to coach. We’ll make a plan for how you prepare, and how you can find your footing when the silence stretches or the conversation goes everywhere. Something you can anchor to when your brain says “oh no!”

We’re closing the gap between I did the thing and Okay…what now?

You make room for other people to be heard, untangle their thoughts, and find their next step.

There’s room for you to do that here, too.
